Local Chapter News Several members of the chapter attended the National Board of the ROCKS, 6th Bi-Annual National Leadership and Training Conference held on April 3 - 5, 2008 at Fort Belvoir Officer Club. We all had a wonderful time!

|
Shurman L. Vines, Jr., son of , Lt.
Col. Shurman L. Vines, Chapter VP for Administration, was recently
selected to receive a 4-Year Army ROTC Scholarship, administered by the
National Board of ROCKS. Shurman Jr., currently a senior at
Hampton High School, graduates with honors this June, and plans to attend
Virginia Commonwealth University this fall. At VCU Shurman Jr.
plans to enroll in the pre-Dentistry Program and one day serve as an
Army Dentist. |
